Gatchaman

Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, aka Battle of the Planets, aka G-force, aka Eagle Riders, aka etc. etc. This show was my very first Anime influence. After I'd grown up (more or less ) my mother had given me some pictures I drew from when I was about 7yrs old. [link] After seeing them I was inspired to draw a new one. I didn't have much in the way of reference pics, but I wanted to give it a bit of a revised look.

Not long after this they came out w/ a new Science Ninja Team Gatchaman OVA series, with revamped character designs. Looking at it I thought, that looks lame, my character designs on this look better then that! (They really fuglied up the ol' purple doberman guy) However, later on, I was glad to see Alex Ross breath some new life into the series, keeping the same old designs and making them look cool, despite their age. Rock On Dude!
